# How to delete your account and personal data

If you no longer wish to use JamesEdition, you can request the permanent deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it. This process applies to both individual users and users connected to a company profile.

Please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

### How to request deletion

Email [support@jamesedition.com](mailto:support@jamesedition.com) from the email address registered on your account, using the subject line **"Account deletion request."**

If your account is associated with a company profile, please specify whether you would like us to:

- Delete the entire company profile, or
- Delete only your personal user account while keeping the company profile active.

### What happens next

Once we receive your request, we will confirm it and verify that it was submitted by the account owner.

For company profiles, we may need additional confirmation from the registered owner or an authorized administrator before removing the entire company profile.

Once the request has been verified, we will delete the applicable account and personal data. If the entire company profile is being deleted, any active listings associated with it will also be unpublished.

**Deletion is permanent.** Once completed, your account information, listings, statistics, and message history cannot be restored.

We process deletion requests within **one month** of receiving a valid request.

### What we keep

Records we are legally required to retain, such as invoices and payment records.

### If you only want to stop receiving emails

You do not need to delete your account. Use the unsubscribe link in the email, or manage your notification settings at https://www.jamesedition.com/buyer/account
