How do I edit a listing?
For Business Account users who want to change a listing, or who get an error when publishing or updating it.
Go to My Listings, click the listing, and click Edit Listing. Make your changes and click Update listing.
How do I edit a listing?
-
Go to My Listings and click the listing you want to change. It opens in a pop-up window.
-
Click Edit Listing.
-
Make your changes. You can update any part of the listing, such as the title, description, price, location, photos or property details.
-
Click Update listing to save.
In the same pop-up window you can also:
-
Publish or Unpublish the listing. An unpublished listing moves to the Removed tab, and you can publish it again at any time.
-
Open the listing as buyers see it with View live.
- See its performance in the Statistics tab, and tips to improve it in the Quality Report tab.

Can I edit a listing that comes from my CRM feed?
Yes. Once you edit a feed listing by hand, JamesEdition keeps your version, and your CRM no longer updates it, except for the price and status. A padlock next to the listing title shows that it has manual changes. If you want your CRM to update it again, see: How does my CRM feed work on JamesEdition?
Why can't I publish? "Please update all required fields first"
This message means a required field is still empty. Check these fields:
-
Location: select an address from the dropdown suggestions.
-
Price: enter a price, or choose Hide price if you don't want to show it.
-
Property type.
-
Photos: add at least two landscape photos.
Then click Publish or Update listing again.
What does "The address or coordinates are insufficient" mean?
This message means the address was typed in but not selected from the dropdown, so the map can't place the listing. Select one of the suggested addresses, or switch to coordinates and place the pin on the map yourself. See Why is my listing's map pin in the wrong place?
When do my changes show on the live site?
Changes you make in your Business Account appear right away as soon as you click Update listing. Changes you make in your CRM reach JamesEdition at the next feed update, so they don't appear immediately. If you still can't see your changes, see Why can't I find my listing or my changes on JamesEdition?
